Farrah’s POV
I lost my baby which I had no idea I was carrying in a wolf fight while my mate was with his Gamma.
It was upsetting and tragic, and I never thought that I would experience such a day.
“Oh no!” I yelled in panic as someone wrapped a blindfold around my eyes while I was walking home.
A growl left my attacker’s lips as he said, “Don’t try resisting me or you’ll suffer!”
“Who are you? What do you want from me?!” I rushed out as I struggled against him.
The blindfold came off and I saw my attacker. There was actually more than one. Two of them were in wolf form while the one that
blindfolded me was in human form.
“Who sent you?!” I asked them as I realized that they were not rogues since they didn’t look feral.
“Alpha Heath of the Howling Wolves pack sent us to kidnap you since you’re Jacob’s Luna.” He answered me as he smirked.
Jacob was the Alpha of our pack, the Red Wolves pack, and he was my
mate.
“I won’t let you!” I exclaimed as I started shifting into my wolf.
“Don’t be silly, we outnumber you!” He yelled as another growl left
his throat.
I refused to run away like a coward and growled back at them.
“Take her down!” He commanded the other wolves and they jumped
on me.
I struggled against them as one bit down on my right foreleg. The other wolf headbutted my stomach hard and I felt pain overwhelm
- me.

I yelped and struggled harder. They got off me and I attacked the one that headbutted me. I bit down on his shoulder and he howled in pain. then I threw him aside.
I jumped on the one that bit me and bit hisk, making him howl in pain.
I didn’t let go until the one in human form pushed me aside.
He whimpered and got up, only to run away. The first wolf got up and
ran away too.
Only the one in human form remained. He looked around nervously before moving his gaze back to me.
Fear and anger was evident in his eyes as his jaw clenched and he rushed out, “We’ll get you another day!”
He ran away too and I shifted back to my human form.
I noticed blood trickled down my legs and the bite mark on my right. arm was throbbing along with my stomach. I also felt dizzy as I tried to walk.
“Don’t look there, it’s ill fortune.” I heard my mate, Alpha Jacob say.
I looked up to see him staring at the blood trickling down my legs.
He and his Gamma, Lisa, were in his car that had stopped beside me.
Even though he saw the state that I was in, he drove off and left me to fend for myself.
How could he say that? Why didn’t he help me?
I felt sad, and I tried to take another step, but the pain overwhelmed me and I collapsed as I lost consciousness.
This was how I lost my baby.
On the day that I returned from the pack hospital, I found a lingerie lying on the floor of our bedroom.
I had felt so angry that I nearly tore the skimpy little thing.
I shook my head as I realized that I couldn’t stay with Jacob anymore.

He broke my heart and doesn’t deserve to be with me.
I pulled out my phone from my purse and dialed the number of the Dean of the Standard West College, Mr. Peter.
He answered the call on the second ring, Miss Farrah, how are you?”
“I’m good, Mr. Peter. I want to transfer from Harry Ford College to Standard West College.” I said confidently.
He sounded surprised as he asked, “Are you sure about this? Have you thought it over?”
“Yes.” I answered him.
He laughed and replied, “That’s good news! I’ll send you the transfer form through email as soon as I can.
He hung up the call and I let out a breath; I was finally leaving Jacob.
Mr. Peter was my Dad’s best friend and he has been suggesting that I enroll in his school ever since I was done with High school, and now, I would be transferring there.
Jacob entered the living room with his phone pressed against his ear, but when he saw me, he murmured, “I’ll call you back later.”
Day and night, Jacob was on his phone either calling or texting someone. He wasn’t like this before, it was only after Lisa became his
Gamma.
Just like how he would come home late from work ever since Lisa
became his Gamma.
“I think I heard you on the phone with someone. Was it your sister?” He asked me as he sat down on the couch beside me.
“Not exactly, it was Mr. Peter.” I answered him right before his phone beeped as a text came through.
“Mmmm.” He mused as he typed a reply on his phone.
It seemed that he wasn’t paying attention to me. He would have asked who that was if he had been paying attention.

Was he texting Lisa? Was that why he wasn’t paying any attention to me?
His lips tugged up into a smile as he typed faster, and I felt my tighten.

Every night, I would make him some kind of dessert, but I usually made him cake.

A look of confusion made its way to his face as he noticed the cold tone of my voice, but he didn’t acknowledge it.
Instead, he said, “I’ve talked with Dr. Nelson and he has requested that you see him tomorrow morning.
