Necks crane fares turned, and eyes met Sebastian’s, who changed his expression from unbelievable to terrifying Stunned by knowledge, L
“Sebastian” he said cautiously, his voice barely audible over the murmurs of the crowd
“I’m fine” Sebastian said, his voice tight and controlled, though the tension in his jaw betrayed his words, Liam leaned in closer,
“We can leave if you want to”
“No” Sebastian shook his head, his gaze fixed on the couple below.
His handkerchief shook in his palmas he took in the scene, Madeline’s bareback, the gown Jacob had chosen for her, Jacob’s hand resting on it. He felt betrayed in a way he hadn’t expected,
and it all made fun of him.
Every second that went by made the shame burn hotter, Sebastian said nothing more and started to move through the crowd, eyes followed him as he walked toward the couple, and the comments grew louder.
Jacob was the first to see him, his eyes narrowing slightly, but he remained silent and kept swaying with Madeline. Sebastian stopped just short of them, his voice low but audible enough to
draw attention,
“Forgive me” he said, addressing Tacob,
“May 1 steal her for a moment?”
Madeline’s face was unreadable as she looked up at him, Jacob tightened his protective hold on her waist and arched an eyebrow. Sebastian spoke softly as he turned to face her,

Liam groaned from the gallery and sank farther into his chair,
“Oh dear” he said, burying his face in his hands, Sensing the need to defuse the tension, Jacob started dancing again. He gently but consciously pushed Sebastian away with his body
Sebastian lost his balance and ran into a waitress with a tray of drinks. The waitress and Sebastian humbled in a heap, and the glasses fell, breaking on the floor,

“Hello, Sebastian” she said, her voice full of mischief as usual.
His breath froze and hung in his throat. Before he could answer, Emily lifted the glass and purposefully dumped its contents over his head, followed by a thunderous collective gasp. The event was filmed by phones and cameras, with the throng bursting into ours and suppressed Laughter.
With the wine seeping into his suit and spilling from his hair, Sebastian stood still,
