Chapter 25–A Total Separation
-never–was, and every day felt heavier than the one before. Madeline had reached out to everyone but him, including her family, friends, and Aweek had passed since the wedding–that–ne even coworkers. The silence she left behind was deafening, and Sebastian was forced to face the wreckage of his decisions as he stared at the empty spot in his closet where Madeline’s wedding dress was supposed to be hung
He had blocked Emily’s phone and made it clear to security that she was not to be permitted anywhere close to him or his house in an effort to cut off all communication with her.

Even the bookshop she adored, though he had never been able to comprehend her infatuation with perusing countless hardcover books. However, she never showed up, he felt an emptiness that nothing could dill while her absence tormented him.
That night, after yet another unsuccessful day, he came home, loneliness heavy in his chest. The house felt more chilly and deserted than before. Every nook and cranny seemed to evoke mentories of Madeline, the warmth she provided to every area she filled, the way she sang to herself when she thought no one was listening, the way she laughed, the silence was deafening

He began unbuttoning his cuffs and rolling up his sleeves, he pulled off his suit jacket, hanging it neatly over the chair, and walked toward her with a playful smile, “Alright, Madhe. Let’s do this”
