When Kathleen received the text message, she was stunned for a moment. Only then did she realize that she shouldn’t have sent the photo to Nadia. After all, Nadia had chosen to study abroad to avoid any news related to Matthew. She gave herself time and space to slowly let go of everything related to Matthew, but Kathleen had been troubling her unknowingly.
Okay. She texted Nadia back quickly. Kathleen didn’t say much, but for friends as close as she was with Nadia, Kathleen knew that Nadia was not angry and didn’t need her apology. All Nadia wanted was to let her know.
Nadia replied quickly with a smile emoji. They did not say much, but they tacitly did not mention it again.
Kathleen stared at Nadia’s reply and couldn’t help smiling too. She stared at the screen of her phone in a daze when she noticed someone standing
in front of her.
Kathleen looked up subconsciously and was stunned when s

saw Matthew standing in front of her.
Matthew stood calmly in front of her. He was over 3’10 tall and his cold presence left Kathleen intimidated immediately.
She smiled awkwardly and asked, “What What are you doing here?”
Matthew didn’t say anything. He just reached out his hand to her and said, “Give it to me.”
“Huh?” Kathleen was puzzled. Give… Give what to you?”
Matthew replied. “The photo.
The photo you took in secret just now Matthew added.
Kathleen didn’t know what to say.
Matthew didn’t urge her. He just looked at her calmly and patiently, and left his palm outstretched in front of her. Although he didn’t seem to be domineering, the deep calmness in his brown eyes still gave Kathleen great psychological pressure. Her hand holding the phone seemed to have its own consciousness. Under the extremely intimidating gaze of Matthew, Kathleen eventually handed over her phone hesitancy.
When the cold touch of the phone fell on his palm, Matthew glanced at her.

When Matthew’s low and pleasant voice rang, Kathleen came back to her senses immediately. The screen of her phone was still on her conversation with Nadia over Line.
“Hey, wait,” Kathleen shouted anxiously and reached out to snatch her phone back, but it was already too late. Matthew had already seen Nadia’s Line messages. Kathleen saw clearly that Matthew paused to read the texts on the screen. His handsome face fell and his calm presence became colder suddenly.
“Well..” Kathleen forced a smile. Her hand trembled slightly as she reached for the phone in Matthew’s hands. She tried to pull it back but failed.
Matthew didn’t scroll through the conversation. He just stared at the two lines on the screen motionlessly.
Nadia texted. (He’s single now. He has the right to choose the life he wants. Don’t take it to hear.]
I can help give you some advice with your work. But don’t tell me any news about Matthew in the future. I don’t want to know how he is doing.
Matthew also saw the caption of the photo Kathleen sent Nadia earlier, [Look at the way Lucille looks at Matthew. I don’t believe that they were never in a relationship]
One could vaguely make out the people in the small photo in the conversation.
Matthew clicked on the photo, looked at it, and closed it again. He just stared calmly at Nadia’s texts on the screen.
Kathleen also noticed what Matthew was looking at. She was so annoyed that she wanted to slap herself. His gaze was so intimidating that Kathleen didn’t know why she handed over her phone willingly and forgot to quit the conversation first.
Kathleen didn’t know whether Matthew was inore concerned about her annoyance with whom he was with or Nadia’s response. She really couldn’t understand Mathew at all.
“Well, are you all right?” Kathleen observed Matthew’s expression carefully and asked hesitantly, “I was just talking nonsense. Don’t take it to heart.”
As she spoke, Kathleen reached out for the phone in his hands again shakily. Before her fingertips could touch it, Matthew had already–locked the

“Where is she?” he suddenly asked in a calm voice.
Kathleen didn’t know what to say.
