Harrison was stunned.
Matthew asked, “Are you not busy with work?”

He secretly glanced at the dark sky through the window and couldn’t help reminding Matthew, “Mr. Brock, I’ve worked overtime for hours, and….I made an appointment with a real estate agent. Can I leave first?”
Matthew glanced at the upper right corner of the computer. It was already past seven o’clock.

“Thank you.” Harrison packed up and left in a hurry.
When the office door was closed, Matthew finally raised his head from the computer. His eyes paused on the closed door, and then he looked out of the window at the vast night sky.

Matthew’s face turned cool as he thought of Nadia’s face. His eyes moved from the window to the computer screen. His long fingers fell on the keyboard. He wanted to continue working, but he stopped after typing a word. These designs and reports that had fascinated him became boring
Matthew pushed the keyboard away and got up. After taking his suit jacket from the rack and pick the car key on the desk, he turned to go out.

Matthew only nodded.
This had been how they interacted in the past two years.
adia did not say anything else. She smiled apologetically and was about to leave.
Matthew suddenly asked, “Have you eaten dinner yet?”
Nadia nodded. “Yos.”
Matthew nodded slightly, but he had no intention of leaving.
Nadia didn’t know why he was here. She didn’t ask it, nor did she ask if he had eaten dinner. She just smiled politely at him and left.

Through the inflection in the glass window of a roadside shop, Nadia could see that Matthew’s car was still parked there. She frowned in confusion and walked into the supermarket.
The light tube in the bathroom was broken. She came over to buy a new one.

Matthew slowly shifted his gaze from her legs to her face. He looked into her eyes, but he didn’t say anything.
His silence made Nadia feel more and more embarrassed.

Matthew let go of her, turned around, picked up her phone, and handed it to her.
“Thank you,” Nadia said softly without looking up at him. She just took the phone in silence, pressed the answer button, and turned around with her hand covering the phone. “Hello?”
Matthew glanced at her and walked to the switch at the door.
Nadia couldn’t help but look at his back, and a woman’s voice came to her ear. “Excuse me, is this Nadia Crosby?”
Nadia was pulled back to reality. “Yes. May I know who you are?”
“Hello, Ms. Crosby. Congratulations on being accepted by Architectural Department of Chatford Institute of Technology.”
