Mom, Please Love Me Even Once
Chapter 13
Jessica and I arrived home in no time, and as soon as we entered the pack house, I was enveloped in a big hug.
“Mom, Dad, you’re squishing me!” breathe while they hugged me tightly
exclaimed as I struggled to
“Oh, sweetie! We just miss you so much!” Mom exclaimed as she let go and pinched my cheeks like she was playing with a little baby.
Dad laughed as he nodded and let go too then added, “Yeah, we‘ ve missed you so much!”
“I’ve missed you guys too!” I replied as I grinned at them.
“Welcome home, Farrah!” Alpha Cameron, the Alpha of the Black wolves pack, greeted me as he walked into the pack house’s living
-room.
“Thanks, Alpha!” I replied as a smile touched my lips.
He nodded and pulled out a small snowglobe from his pocket. The snowglobe had a white and black wolf inside it which looked just like my wolf.
He stretched it out towards me as his lips tugged up into a smile and he murmured, “Here, it’s a welcome gift from me to you.”
His smile widened as he continued, “When you told me about transferring back to this pack, you didn’t tell me exactly when you will be coming back, so I asked your Dad and he told me that you’ll be coming back today.”
I felt my cheeks flush in a blush and I couldn’t help, but smile back at him. His dark eyes captured my hazel ones and I found myself lost in his eyes.
I could see want and fondness in his eyes then a touch of something. else that I couldn’t identify.
“Farrah?” He asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.
He jiggled the snowglobe as he asked, “Don” t you like it?”

I realized that he thought that I didn‘ like it and that was why I didn’t take it from him, so I quickly grabbed it from his hand as I said, “I love it!”
He looked relieved as he nodded, “That’s good to know.”
“Thanks for the gift!” I exclaimed as my blush deepened and I couldn’t look at him anymore because of how shy 1 felt.

“We bought you welcome gifts too, sweetie! Come on, let’s go to our floor, we’ll show them to you.” Mom said as she took my hand and pulled me past Alpha Cameron then up the stairs.
The Alpha, Beta and Gamma each have a floor belonging to them in the pack house, so on our Dad’s floor, we have our own living room, study, kitchen and bedrooms.
“I’ll see you later then?” Alpha Cameron called.
I turned my head around as I nodded, “Yeah, sure. Catch you later, Alpha!”
Dad and Jessica followed us to Dad’s floor and Mom dragged me to the living room.
“Here they are! I’m sure you’ll love them!” Mom exclaimed as she gestured towards the couch where there was a white MacBook and white headphones.
I squealed in delight and hugged Mom then hugged Dad, “You guys are literally the best!”
They both grinned and replied at the same time, “We know.”
“And I baked you these delicious chocolate cupcakes!” Jessica exclaimed as she walked into the living room holding a plate of chocolate cupcakes in each hand.
“Ooh! You’re the best sister ever!” I declared as I grabbed one. cupcake and bit into it.
She laughed as she said, “Dude, I’m your only sister.”
I giggled and nodded then grabbed one plate of cupcakes and made my way to the couch to sit down.

“You can use the MacBook to study more, and you can use the
headphones to listen to motivational audios or music while running at school.” Dad explained as he sat down beside me and picked up one cupcake
1 bit into it..
“Dad, we run in wolf form. I can’t use headphones while in wolf form.” I reasoned as I laughed..
“Yes, you can! I’ve done it before.” He replied as he grinned.
We all laughed and continued chatting. All of us were having a good time until it was time for bed. We bid each other goodnight and retired to bed.
The next day, I was reading a novel in our living room when Mom walked in.
“Hey, your Dad and I want to take you out to dinner tonight to celebrate your return.” She said as she sat down beside me.
“That sounds good. Is Jess coming too?” I asked as I smiled at her.
“Yeah.” She answered me as she nodded.
I nodded too, “Thanks for being so thoughtful. I’m sure that we’ll all have a great time.”
She hugged me and replied, “Me too.”
“Oh, I’m so happy that you’re home! I hope that your new mate will be in California so that you wouldn’t have to go far away from here.” Mom mused as she pulled back from the hug.
“I hope so too.”
“And hopefully, it will be an Alpha that we know very well.” She added as she sighed.
I chuckled as I grinned at her, “Don’t worry about it, Mom. I’m sure that whoever I’m going to accept as my new mate will be perfect.”
She laughed too and hugged me again.
Later that night, Dad, Mom, Jess and I entered the fancy restaurant a street away from the pack house.

Chapter 13
It was called, “Le Bon.”
It was French and it means, “The Good.”
Only Alphas, Betas and Gammas dined at the restaurant, so it was very high class.
“Hi, how can I serve you today?” The manager asked as we approached her desk.
“We want a table for four.” Dad said in a firm voice.
“Alright. Please follow me, Gamma Nathan.” She replied as she walked around her desk and started leading us through the tables and people seated around them.
She stopped at a table in the center of the room and bowed her head slightly, “Here it is, Gamma.”
“Thank you.” He replied as we started taking our seats around the table.
