I was about to run away when Willow spoke up, “Just hear him out. If not, he won’t leave you alone. Besides, you can make it clear that you two are over and he won’t try looking for you again.”
I sighed, “Fine.”
Jacob approached me and stopped in front of me.
His lips tugged up into a smile as he murmured, “Farrah, I’ve missed you so much.”
“Well, I’ve not missed you! Why did you come looking for me? I told you not to look for me!” I yelled, feeling frustrated with him.
He grabbed my face as he grinned even though I yelled at him, and then he yelled, “I can’t live without you, Farrah! Why haven’t you come back yet? What did I do wrong?”
I sighed as I grabbed his hands and pulled them away from my face,
“I’m not coming back, Jacob! That’s why I rejected you!”
Suddenly, his grin dropped and his jaw clenched as anger showed on
his face.
His voice was low as he asked, “Then why reject me?”
“Isn’t it obvious? You’re never with me, but you’re always with Lisa.” I muttered as I crossed my arms against my chest.
He shook his head in disbelief as he asked, “Are you jealous of Lisa? Is that why you didn’t care when Beta Kyle called you and told you how sick I was?”
“How can you even say that? This isn’t about jealousy, this is about how you’re all about Lisa!” I exclaimed as I huffed.
“But you said you weren’t coming back even when Beta Kyle told you that I might get stuck in wolf form!” He yelled as he stomped his foot.
I knew that he was trying to gaslight me and to make me look like the bad guy, but I wasn’t having any of it!
Chapter 20
Because you refused to shift back to your human form unless I came back! It’s not my fault that you almost got stuck, it’s your fault!” I yelled back as I clenched my hands into fists as anger seized me.
“But how can you say that you’re not coming back knowing the state. that I was in?” He asked as a pitiful look showed on his face.
I didn’t pity him. I just felt angry and frustrated at him.
“You saw me badly injured on the side of the road, yet you drove off with Lisa!” I exclaimed as I ran a hand through my dark hair.
“I didn’t know that that you were badly injured!” He yelled through clenched teeth in anger as a frown fell on his brows.
It was obviously a lie since there was literally blood dripping down my legs, and he looked at it then warned Lisa not to look.
I shook my head as I exclaimed, “You even said that it’s ill fortune when you saw the blood dripping down my legs!”
He shook his head and before he could reply, I added, “And then I found Lisa’s lingerie in our bedroom!”
“You know that she sleeps over at the pack house sometimes, so she probably-” He started another lie, but I didn’t have time to hear it, so I cut him off.
“I don’t need to hear that lie. Just go, Jacob.” I muttered, as I felt drained from the conversation.
“I’m not lying! I don’t lie to you. Just come back home with me and I won’t leave you to go to Lisa ever again!” He exclaimed as he wrapped. his arm around my shoulders and started steering me away from the school.
I pulled away and frowned at him, “I’m not going with you! Just leave. me alone, Jacob!”
I growled at him and then exclaimed, “I, Luna Farrah, reject you, Alpha Jacob!”
Jacob dropped to his knees as a pained expression showed on his face.
He growled as he fisted the sand while bending down on all fours.
“I will never accept your rejection, Farrah!” He yelled as I straightened up and struggled to stand up.
The pain that he was feeling was more than he felt the first time because he was refusing to accept my rejection.
“Well, if you want to stop feeling this pain, you need to accept my rejection.” I muttered as I rolled my eyes.
“I don’t care about the pain. All I care about is you!” He exclaimed as he took my hand in his and interlaced our fingers.
I pulled my hand away as I gave him a look full of hate and replied,
“Why don’t you tell the truth for once? All you care about is Lisa, and how are you going to be with her when you’re refusing to accept my rejection?!”
“I don’t care about Lisa anymore. I just want you!” He exclaimed ast he stepped closer to me.
I stepped back and replied, “Well, I don’t want you anymore!” “I’m sorry. Please come back home with me, Farrah.” He murmured as he looked at me with desperation in his eyes.
“She’s not going anywhere with you, Alpha Jacob. So kindly leave.” Alpha Cameron’s voice floated to us as he walked towards us and stopped beside me.
“I’m not going anywhere without Farrah.” Jacob grunted.
“Yes, you are because I’m not going anywhere with you, Jacob!” I growled at him in frustration.
“What exactly is going on here, Farrah? Why does he want you to go with him?” Alpha Cameron asked me as he looked between the two of us.
I really didn’t want to explain my complicated relationship with Jacob to Alpha Cameron – the guy that Willow thinks there’s something going on between us, but I had to give him an explanation.
So I sighed as I answered him, “Well, I left him and rejected him

because I found out that he was cheating on me with his Gamma, Lisa, and now, he wants me to go back with him and be his mate again while denying that there’s anything going
on between him and Lisa.”
