“No, I want only you. Lisa is only my Gamma, but You mean more to
- me.
“Then can you remove Lisa as your Gamma to take me back?” I asked him.
“Please don’t make me do that!” He exclaimed with a hopeless look on his face.
I sighed, “Just go.
“No, you have to understand that I’m just helping Lisa!” He exclaimed, defending himself.
“Really?” I asked sarcastically.
“I’m serious, Farrah. I’m just trying to protect her. After her Mom stepped down from the Gamma position, she passed away and right before she did, she made me promise to protect her, especially since she was being bullied because she grew up without a Dad.” He explained as his eyes bounced between the two of mine.
“I have the voice recording and I can show you if you think I’m lying.” He added as he pulled out his phone from his pocket and started scrolling through it.
I raised my hand as I said, “Stop! You don’t need to show me anything because I don’t care.”
A frown fell on his brows as he asked, “But do you believe me?”
“No, I don’t. You need to accept that I’ll never take you back as my mate, and just go back home.” I replied.
“Alright, I’ll go, but know that I’ll never stop loving you. murmured as he stared at me.

When I didn’t reply and instead gave him a cold look, he sighed and turned around to walk away.
I hoped that would be the last time that I see him as I walked back to the school.
As soon as I was out of the woods, I saw Dad waiting for me as he leaned against his car.
Alpha Cameron was no where in sight. He must have gone home or gone inside the school for whatever brought him..
He might have come to the College for Turner’s sake since he has applied there.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when Dad saw me and said, “What were you guys talking about? You took forever in there!”
I chuckled as I replied, “He kept insisting that I take him back.”
“I just hope that you’re happy with your choice.” He muttered as he opened the driver seat‘ s door and climbed into the car.
I opened the passenger seat‘ s door and climbed in as I said in a soft voice, “I’m happy.”
He nodded and started the car before driving us home.
Fifteen minutes later, we were climbing up the stairs leading to our floor in the pack house.
“Hey, Dad! Hey, Farrah! Can I talk to you for a minute?” Jess asked as she walked out of her bedroom and grabbed my arm.
Before I could reply, she pulled me into her bedroom and closed the door. She pushed me onto her bed and sat down beside me.
She ran both hands through her hair as she groaned, “I don’t know what to do, Farrah. Brian keeps calling me! Do I answer or do I ignore. him just to play hard–to–get?”
“Who’s Brian again?” I asked her as I raised my brows in question. “My crush–uh, no! Right, he’s not my crush anymore because he’s my new boyfriend!” She ranted, looking stressed out.
I placed my hands on her shoulders as I said, “Woah! Jess! Slow down. Breathe and relax.”
She drew in a deep breath and let it out as she nodded.
“Okay, tell me slowly. What happened with Brian?” I asked her

gently as I pulled my hands away from her shoulders.
She nodded and started explaining, “He’s been my crush for like forever and he’s like the hottest guy at work.
Suddenly, he starts staring at me like I usually stare at him everyday during lunch break, so I couldn’t continue staring at him anymore. Then today, he approached my desk- and he never approaches my desk. So he asked me out and I was like so ecstatic! Yay me! But then I saw him talking to Angela and I felt so jealous!
Now, he’s calling me and I don’t know if I should answer the call or just let it ring to play hard–to–get!”
I couldn’t help, but laugh. She looked frustrated as she yelled, “It’s not funny, Farrah!”
“It kind of is, Jess. But seriously, you have to answer his call since you like him so much.” I replied honestly.
She let out a breath and nodded, “Yeah, you’re right. I can’t let this feelings of jealousy ruin my chance at getting a mate.”
I nodded too, “Exactly. So pick up your phone and call Brian. Tell him that you can’t wait for your date tonight.”
“Oh, it’s not tonight. It’s tomorrow night.” She corrected me as she blushed, but she picked up her phone.
“Alright, you can go now. I don’t want to talk to Brian while you’re listening.” She added as she gestured at the door.
I giggled at their romance and stood up, “Okay, I’m leaving now.”
“Good.” She replied and started scrolling through her phone.
As I walked out of her room, I heard her say into the phone, “Hi, Brian.”
I giggled again and closed her door then made my way to my room.
It was soon 9:00 pm which meant that it was time for me to go to Ashley’s house so that we would go to that lit house party.
So I walked out of the pack house and started trekking down to

Ashley’s house in my sweetheart neckline, short–sleeved, long, cream dress.
I’ve already asked Mom and Dad for permission to go out since after I came back from school and they’ve agreed.
It took me about five minutes to reach Ashley’s house and I rang the doorbell.
The door opened and a she–wolf in her mid fifties stood there.
I assumed she was Ashley’s Mom, so I greeted her, “Evening, Mrs. Wesley!”
“Evening, Luna Farrah!” She greeted me back as she grinned. “Luna?” I asked her as my eyes widened in surprise.
