In the dim bedroom. Ashley Anderson lay on the floor, feeling awful. Pregnancy pains tore through her stomach, making her face pale and covered
in sweat.
The door creaked open, and a man’s ligure appeared in the doorway. Ashley reached out weakly. “Eric, please, help me?
But he just gave her a cold, distant stare, “Ashley, is this your game?” His tone practically oozed with disgust. “You thought getting me into bed would make me crazy about you?”
Ashley Garcia and Eric Anderson got engaged young, and later they tied the knot as arranged by their families, but Eric never really felt it for her. Their three–year marriage was a total joke.
At an Anderson Group party two months back, Ashley somehow ended up hooking up with Eric. No matter what she said. Eric believed she had it all planned out.
She denied it and said, “It wasn’t me I was wasted, don’t even remember what happened. Eric, please believe me.” Her stomach churned with nerves. She grabbed onto his pants, begging. Tm in pain. Can you drive me to the hospital?”
“Still acting like the innocent one?” Eric’s expression turned sour at the mention of the hospital, his tone sending shivers down her spine. “You think by doing so you can cover up the fact that you pushed Olivia down the stairs and caused her to miscarry?”
Ashley was shocked to know Olivia was also pregnant, wondering whose baby she was pregnant with.
Eric’s face turned to stone, looking even more menacing in the dim light. He crouched down, grabbed Ashley’s jaw, and said through gritted teeth. “Ashley, you’re the most vile woman I’ve ever met

hardly catch her breath, desperately trying to pry his hand away, “Please, let me go, she choked out. Tears streamed down her face as she begged. “Eric, it wasn’t me. She fell on her own, and I’m pregnant too. I’m carrying our baby.”
Eric was momentarily taken aback but swiftly composed himself. No way! I’d seen her take birth control pills after that incident. She couldn’t be pregnant. She must be faking it to trick me again.
“Even if you’re really pregnant, you think I’ll want that child?” Eric smirked, mocking her and crushing her dignity.
Ashley was stunned, looking up in disbelief, feeling like her blood turned to ice i

Eric didn’t waste
waste a second, coldly pushing her away and ordering, “Get rid of her. She’s finished in Willowmere”
The bodyguard grabbed Ashley, pulled her up, and tossed her out into the pouring rain beyond the villa gate. Dressed in loose pajamas, Ashley shivered in the biting wind and rain, her stomach throbbing let out a bitter laugh, never imagining herself ending up like this after loving him for so many years.
