rage. “Dr.
Tric never saw it coming that this woman would have the guts to insult him so boldly. Ashley’s total lack of respect made him boil with Garcia, remember your job. Is it right for someone so biased to play doctor? His voice cut like a knife–no one had ever stood up to him like this.
Instead of blowing up. Ashley chuckled and patted her sleeve Eric just tugged, oozing with arrogance. “Mr. Anderson should be grateful. If I wasn’t a doctor, I would never bother to save a homewrecker. You might want to start showing some respect, Mr. Anderson. Right now, I’m the only one who can save your girl.”
Her eyes shot daggers at him, but her face was all smugness. She figured Eric wouldn’t have the guts to challenge her, not after he put Olivia above even his own kids.
Eric’s expression turned icy. She was right–only she could save Olivia for now. But her face was a constant reminder of Ashley and their kids. “Sorry. I’m done for the day. Without even looking back, Ashley brushed past him and headed out.
Eric stayed put. Tristan was waiting not far away. Just the thought of what was waiting for him back there sucked all the warmth from his eyes. As Eric headed back to Olivia’s ward, a cup came flying his way. He dodged it swiftly, but the splashing water still soaked his clothes.

Trying to get out of bed, she lost her footing, dramatically collapsing to the floor. The nurses couldn’t help but gasp–her acting skills were on par
with those of celebrities.
But Eric totally fell for it. When he saw Olivia fall, he dashed over without a second thought, all his earlier irritation forgotten, and helped her up.
Olivia held onto him, tears rolling down her cheeks. I got so scared when I saw you pulling that woman away. I thought you didn’t want me anymore, and I just lost it, she confessed, clinging tightly to his neck until he gently returned her to the bed,
Eric let out a deep sigh. While he wished for Olivia’s recovery, a strange feeling of disgust gnawed at him. When do these feelings toward Olivia start! Is it when Dr. Garcia accused her of faking illness? Or is it her tantrum afterward, making everyone work overtime and endure her mood swings?” he asked himself.
“Eric, Olivia called out, her heart sinking, a hint of panic flickering in her eyes for the first time.
