Chapter 3
Tristan stood up, casting a helpless glance at Eric as he thought, “This kid is young but sure has a big attitude.
Eric paused for a moment and asked, “Are you related to Dr. Garcia!”
“What’s up with my mommy? Chloe asked softly from nearby.
Eric and Tristan exchanged awkward glances. They’d come to see Alice but ended up ticking g off her family instead.
Eric replied, “We need Dr. Garcia to check someone out”
Ryan’s expression turned stern. “You better leave. My mommy won’t treat you.”
“Hey, Ryan” Chloe poured, tugging on her brother’s arm. “Mommy always says doctors have to save lives, no matter what. Holding grudges isn’t cool
Seeing her sweet, innocent face, Eric’s heart warmed, almost melting. If he and Olivia’s kid had lived, he or she would be around this age now, Every time he thought about it, his hatred for Ashley grew, to the point where he wished he could have killed her.
Chloe glanced at Eric again. “Mommy’s not home. She’s out, but you can wait at our place.”
The two cute kids, clutching their dog, trotted towards the villa, while Eric followed behind Olivia, however, was seething with anger but managed to keep it in check in front of Eric.
Upon entering the villa, Olivia went to sit on the couch, but Ryan spoke up. “Hey, that’s my mommy’s spot. Only she

Olivia felt utterly embarrassed like she wanted to vanish into thin air. She looked to Eric for support, but he just gave her a cold stare, signaling her to stay quiet
“Get Dr. Brown here,” Eric told Tristan, then turned to the kids. “He’s the best vet around here. He’ll check your puppy out.”
Ryan huffed, about to say no, but Chloe pulled at him. “Mommy only fixes people, not pups. What if something’s up with Joyce? Let them check her out; they messed up anyway. Reluctantly, Ryan gave in.
Eric grinned at the kids. He really liked them. “So, what are your names?”
