The assistant, coming back to her senses, swiftly rose from the floor and discovered Ashley collapsed, She cried out for help, drawing the attention of the doctors who had just left the operating room. Soon, a crowd formed, whispering amongst themselves.
The unfounded accusations and actions of Olivia’s family sent a chill through the medical staff, leaving them stunned.
The Garcia family stood motionless, uncertain of their next move. The doctor’s sudden collapse caught everyone off guard.
“We had no idea the surgery went well. She didn’t say a word when she came out, Emma stubbornly defended herself, shooting a disdainful look Ashley on the ground
“Step aside.” Eric’s firm voice cut through the tension. Upon his arrival at the doorway, the Garcia family immediately made way for him.
“Eric, you’re here to see Olivia, right? Eric moved swiftly, taken aback by the sight of the normally strong and sharp “Dr. Garcia now appearing fragile. She seemed like a sleeping child, her usual fierceness replaced by vulnerability.
The assistant hurried to keep pace with Eric, her heart heavy as she observed Ashley being carried in Eric’s arms.
Eric carried Ashley into the break room, where a nurse had already set up an IV. She swiftly hooked it up as they walked in.

Frie’s gaze rested on Ashley’s pale face, stirring up a strange mix of feelings in him. He wondered if his concern heightened because of her resemblance to Ashley. He realized he never seemed to truly let go of his feelings for Ashley.
