Chapter 20 She Belongs to Mr. Tres
The attention of everyone immediately fell on them.
Jillian couldn’t help but speak up, “Mr. Adams is so handsome, even the hottest movie stars aren’t as good–looking as him.”
Alex’s gaze swept over in their direction. Seeing this, Olivia quickly lowered her eyes.
At this moment, a female colleague exclaimed excitedly, “Oh my god, did Mr. Adams just look at me?”
Another person agreed, “Seems like it.”
As they entered the elevator together, Jillian couldn’t help but say, “What kind of woman do you think the handsome Mr. Adams would like?”
Olivia remained silent, tightly pursing her lips.
They soon arrived at the finance department. As Olivia sat down, a woman wearing a white dress approached and stopped in front of her desk. “Are you the new intern?”
The woman’s expression was somewhat unpleasant.
“Yes,” Olivia replied.
“You little vixen, how did you manage to hook up with Mr. Oliver? You need to watch your back.”
With a cold remark, the woman turned and left.
Olivia was taken aback.
She thought, ‘What is going on? What are people saying about my relationship with Oliver?‘
Jillian whispered in her ear, “She’s Dawn Mack, the niece of Mr. Mack. You’ve taken her position, so she’s definitely not happy with you.”
Upon hearing this, Olivia instantly understood.
She said, “I see. I’ll be careful from now on.”
She had never imagined that office politics could be so complicated. She found it difficult to handle the situation.
Jillian was a good girl though. She added Olivia on WhatsApp.
“Analyze these documents.” Dawn walked over and placed a large stack of documents on Olivia’s desk.
She added, “They must be analyzed by the end of the day, otherwise, you’ll have to work overtime tonight.” Olivia raised an eyebrow, “Why do I have to listen to you?”
“These are Mr. Mack’s instructions. If you have any questions, go ask him.” With that, Dawn turned and left. Olivia felt a headache coming on. It would take her a tremendous amount of time to analyze these documents. Seeing her predicament, Jillian leaned over and said, “Olivia, let me help you with this.”
Olivia said gratefully, “Thank you.”
The two of them quickly got to work.
Later, Jillian invited Olivia to have lunch together. It was then that Olivia remembered she had to meet a man at the café today.
She quickly apologized to Jillian, “I’m really sorry, I have to meet someone.”
With that, Olivia left and took a taxi to the Blue Mountain Café.
She sat in a chair, waiting for the man to arrive.
Before long, two men approached, one of whom she recognized as Davy Haynes.
“Oh, Miss Hall, I didn’t expect to see you again so soon,” Davy said, his gaze falling on Olivia.
Recalling the night when he apologized to Olivia, he was filled with frustration.
Olivia ignored him.
Davy continued, “Danny, is this the woman you’re going to meet?”
Danny Haynes looked at Olivia and asked, “Are you the woman Nancy mentioned?”
Olivia remained silent, feeling utterly speechless. She hadn’t expected to run into Davy at this moment.
“Why were you unwilling to pour me a drink last time, but now you’re here to sell yourself for six hundred thousand dollars? What a hypocrite,” Davy said disdainfully, with an underlying meaning in his words.
Olivia was taken aback.
Sure enough, Nancy didn’t have good intentions this time. She was trying to sell her off.
“Davy, is this the woman to whom Mr. Tres forced you to apologize that night?” Danny asked.

Davy’s face immediately darkened. “Don’t mention that night again.”
He had never felt so embarrassed before since he was forced to apologize to a random woman in front of many of his friends.
Olivia suddenly felt a sense of unease and wanted to get up and leave.
But Davy grabbed her arm. “Miss Hall, why the rush? How about we go somewhere else to talk?”
Upon hearing this, Olivia frowned and tried to shake off his hand.
But his grip was too strong, and she couldn’t break free.
“Let go of me. I’m Alex Adams‘ woman. If you dare to touch me, you’re dead,” Olivia said in frustration. She had to mention Alex.
She believed that once she mentioned him, Davy would let her go.
Unfortunately, Olivia was mistaken.
Davy sneered, “Do you really think Alex would be interested in you? You’re just a plaything to him.”
With that, Davy squeezed Olivia’s arm forcefully and snatched her phone from her hand.
“Today, if you don’t come with me, I’ll go find the matchmaker. You should know better than me what the consequences will be,” Davy said. Hearing this, Olivia was startled.
She couldn’t let Nancy know about this, or else her mother would be in trouble.
After a moment of consideration, Olivia had no choice but to compromise.
“Fine, I’ll go with you, but don’t grab me. You’re hurting me,” Olivia said deliberately.
Seeing this, Davy smiled faintly. His eyes seemed glued to Olivia, staring at her intently. “Little seductress, I will definitely have you today.” Danny watched the two of them without saying a word.
Soon, Olivia got into their car.
The car sped to the night club, Night View.
Inside a private room, Olivia sat in the middle, and Davy handed her a bottle of red wine. “Pour me a drink.”
With trembling hands, Olivia took the bottle and poured Davy a glass of wine. Just as she was about to put down the bottle, Davy continued, “Pour yourself a glass too.”
Olivia hesitated. “I don’t drink.”
She really didn’t want to drink with a strange man.
“I order you to drink,” he said, taking out his phone. “If you don’t drink, I’ll call the matchmaker right now.”
Helpless, Olivia had no choice but to drink. Soon, a flush appeared on her face…
She felt the man next to her starting to touch her, so she hurriedly said, “Mr. Haynes, excuse me for a moment, I need to go to the restroom.”
Davy immediately grabbed her waist and smirked, “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. Are you trying to escape?”
Olivia shook her head, about to explain, but Davy pressed her down on the sofa, one hand on her shoulder, preventing her from moving, while the other hurriedly untied his belt.
He said, “Little seductress, I can’t hold back anymore. I really want to have you right now.”
Danny looked away and said nothing. He got up and went to smoke by the door.
The nightclub was a place for the wealthy to have fun. Many young men and women from wealthy families frequent this place.
Gary Miller, with two beautiful women in his arms, happened to pass by and saw Danny. “You are Danny Haynes, right?”
Danny quickly nodded, smiling ingratiatingly, “Mr. Miller, what a coincidence.”
Gary smiled and asked, “Where’s your brother?”
Danny said, “He’s inside having fun.”
Suddenly, cries for help came from inside the room
Gary smiled faintly, “What is your brother up to this time? Why is a woman calling for help?”
Danny scratched his head awkwardly. “Well, my brother has always been like this.”
Gary furrowed his brow slightly. “This voice sounds so familiar.”
