Chapter 25 Wiend at First Sight
“Olivia.“Oliver’s throat tightened, instantly captivated by her beauty.
Desquire being in a relationship with olivia for a year, he had never seen her look so beautiful before.
For a moment, he felt as it he had been blindd all this time.
“Olivia, your dress is so pretty. Did you rent it?” As Rosa spoke, jealousy flickered in her eyes.
She thought, Olivia is truly despicable. She knows that today is my engagement day, yet she still wants to steal my spotlight. I wish I could tear her to pieces.‘
Her voice wasn’t particularly loud, but everyone around heard it.
The surrounding crowd turned their attention towards them.
Rosa continued, “Olivia, is this necklace a gift from a sugar daddy? I just don’t know which rich boy you’ve hooked up with.”
Olivia’s face turned pale in an instant, het hands unconsciously clenched into fists.
Alex sat in the front of the hall and didn’t even glance in their direction.
Unable to stand Rosa’s sarcastic tone, Grace pulled Olivia behind her and retorted, “Rosa, you stole someone else’s boyfriend and still have the nerve to talk? Do you naturally like second–hand goods?”
Rosa replied, “I didn’t steal anyone’s boyfriend. Oliver and I are truly in love.”
Grace looked at her disdainfully. “Cut the crap. Everyone knows that Oliver and Olivia were in a relationship for over a year, but you intervened eventually.”
Hearing this, Rosa’s face couldn’t hold back the embarrassment. She clenched her fists tightly and stared fiercely at Grace.
Her face turned red instantly, her eyes also reddening as she looked at Oliver and said, “Oliver, why don’t you say something? How can you let others bully me like
this.”
Rosa put on a pityful look
Oliver didn’t expect his secret to be exposed. His expression went sour. “The person I like is Rosa. I started dating her only after I broke up with Olivia.”
The Hall family also heard the commotion and walked over.
Many people’s eyes turned towards them.
Grace pointed at Oliver’s nose and said, “I know your affairs better than anyone else. When Rosa seduced you, you were still Olivia’s boyfriend, weren’t you?”
Upon hearing this, Olivia was taken aback.
She quickly tried to stop her, “Grace, please stop.”
She didn’t want her past to be brought up.
In an instant, the scene of her catching Oliver and Rosa cheating in the hotel flashed through her mind.
She never expected such a scene, which only existed in novels, to happen in her life.
Her step–sister actually stole her boyfriend.
Oliver’s face immediately darkened. He never expected Grace to disrespect him like this.
“Grace, what are you saying?” Sydney hurried over and pulled Grace aside.
Ned immediately spoke up, “Mr. Oliver, my daughter doesn’t know any better. Please forgive her.”
Oliver had never been in such an awkward situation before.
However, he knew that Grace was right. He was the one who had wronged Olivia.
“Ned, it’s alright. The engagement banquet is about to start. Let’s all take our seats.”
Rosa pulled Oliver’s arm and walked towards the stage.
The engagement ceremony officially began.
The host recounted the journey from acquaintance to love between the two.
Grace was pulled aside by Sydney, while Olivia sat alone in a daze, watching the two on stage.
Suddenly, Nancy walked up to her with an ugly expression. “Olivia, who exactly is sponsoring you?”
Olivia looked into Nancy’s eyes and saw the hatred within.
She indifferently replied, “Nancy, it’s none of your business.”
“You little wench, just wait.” Nancy didn’t expect Olivia to retort like that. She angrily turned and walked away.
Olivia looked down at her arm, where Nancy had pinched her. She suddenly had a dangerous thought in mind.
She had endured a lot over the years to get her mother’s medical expenses paid for.
Suddenly, waves of pain came from her abdomen, causing Olivia’s face to turn pale, and she instinctively clutched her stomach.
Olivia stood up and wanted to go to the restroom, but in her haste, she accidentally collided with a man coming towards her.
The man’s glass of wine spilled, landing on Olivia’s dress.

Olivia quickly stepped back, almost falling to the ground, but the man reached out and steadied her.
“Miss, are you alright?” The man asked.
Olivia stood there apologetically, “I’m sorry, I accidentally bumped into you.”
The man, wearing a white shirt and gold–rimmed glasses, said with a gentle demeanor, “Do you need help?”
Seeing Olivia’s pale face, the man asked, “Are you feeling unwell?”
Olivia shook her head, “I’m fine.”
She looked down at her dress, the white dress now stained with red wine, particularly glaring.
Following Olivia’s gaze, the man also saw the conspicuous stain and quickly said, “I’m really sorry. Let me accompany you to the dressing room to change clothes.” Olivia shook her head, “That’s okay.”
In fact, she had come in a hurry and didn’t bring a spare dress.
Not far away, Alex saw this scene and immediately frowned.
Olivia’s stomach was so painful that she couldn’t straighten up, and beads of sweat formed on her forehead as she limped toward the restroom.
She already had a bit of dysmenorrhea, and after what had just happened, the pain intensified.
The man was worried that Olivia might fall, so he followed her to the restroom to accompany her.
Then, he waited at the entrance of the bathroom for her.
Soon, Olivia came out of the restroom, and the man quickly handed her a lavender dress, “Miss, please wear this for now. I had someone buy it nearby.” “Thank you.” Olivia felt grateful deep down.
The man handed Olivia a business card, “My name is Travis Madron. My family is running a company. If you ever need help, you can call me directly.” Hearing this, Olivia was surprised.
Travis, a man who was equally famous as Alex in the capital, was the head of the Madron family in the capital.
“I’m Olivia Hall.” After Olivia finished speaking, she took the clothes and went to the fitting room.
Travis waited at the door. Alex walked over from the other side.
Travis greeted with a smile, “Mr. Tres, long time no see. Your nephew is engaged now. Aren’t you planning to find a wife?”
Alex’s face darkened at his words.
“Aren’t you also single?” His voice betrayed no emotion.
“Well… I’m still young.” Travis’s face always carried a gentle smile, making it impossible for people to get angry.
Alex’s gaze fell on the door of the fitting room. He clearly saw Olivia enter just now.
“Who are you waiting for, Mr. Madron?” Alex asked.
“A friend.” Travis’s voice was gentle.
Alex’s expression instantly darkened.
He thought, ‘What’s going on? How are they friends already after just meeting each other?‘
Travis looked at Alex with confusion, “Mr. Tres, do you need something?”
At that moment, Olivia walked out wearing a lavender dress.
