Chapter 29 How Dare You
Before Oliver could speak, Rosa had already walked over and hooked her arm with his, following him inside.
Soon, they arrived at the door of the CEO’s office on the top floor.
Milo was standing guard at the door and raised his hand to stop the two of them. “Sorry, Mr. Adams is resting. Please come back in the afternoon.”
Upon hearing this, Oliver frowned. “I have something very important to discuss with Mr. Adams.”
Milo remained firm. “Without the CEO’s permission, you cannot enter.”
His tone was cold.
Rosa pointed at him. “You took Olivia away just now. Where did you hide her?”
At her words, Milo’s expression changed slightly.
Oliver seemed to understand something and forcefully pushed the door open.
What greeted their eyes was unexpected.
Oliver instinctively turned his head away.
In the rest area, Olivia was sitting on Alex’s lap, the two of them behaving intimately.
“What…” Rosa’s eyes widened in disbelief.
She was suddenly at a loss for words.
Olivia was startled and quickly stood up from Alex’s lap before retreating several steps.
Alex said, “Where are your manners? Don’t you know how to knock?”
He sat on the brown leather sofa with a stern face and looked up coldly.
Oliver trembled with anger. He suddenly disregarded the gap in status between him and Alex and said, “Mr. Adams, this is an office. Please mind your actions.”
Upon hearing this, Alex’s expression turned even uglier.
“It’s none of your business.” Alex sneered coldly, his voice indifferent.
Oliver grunted and stormed out of the room in anger.
Rosa followed along and felt embarrassed.
Alex glanced coldly at Milo.
“Mr. Adams, I’m sorry,” Milo quickly apologized and closed the door behind them.
Alex lazily sat on the sofa and flickered open a cigarette from the pack.
With a metallic click, the cigarette was lit.
Alex’s slender fingers held the cigarette as he casually rolled up his sleeves, his thin lips parting slightly. “Are you upset that your ex saw you like this?”
Olivia lowered her head and remained silent.
Suddenly, she couldn’t help but cough. Seeing this, Alex extinguished the cigarette in his hand.
He then stood up and opened the window.
Soon, a cool breeze blew in, gradually dissipating the smell of smoke in the room.
Alex walked over and held Olivia’s waist from behind.
The intimating posture made Olivia’s heart skip a beat.
“Mr. Tres…”
Olivia struggled a few times, but Alex’s large hand parted her legs.
Olivia couldn’t move, her face turning red.
“If you don’t speak up, I’ll do you right now.” Alex’s deep voice echoed in her ears.
Olivia paused for a moment before saying, “Mr. Tres, I don’t believe you would do such a thing.”
At her words, Alex’s lips curved slightly, and his large hand rested between Olivia’s legs.
She was suddenly startled, and her body trembled along with it.
Olivia quickly begged for mercy. Alex had a face of restraint, but she knew how crazy he could be when he was in the mood.
She said softly, “Mr. Tres.”
Alex gently patted her buttocks with his large hand, slightly curling his lips, then sat back on the sofa.
Olivia breathed a sigh of relief at the sight.
Suddenly, he asked, “Olivia, how long have you been with me?”
Olivia pondered for a moment. “For more than two months.”
He continued, “Is there anything you want?”
Chapter 29 How Dare you
Olivia shook her head. “Mr. Tres, I’m really grateful for the job opportunity you’ve given me. I don’t want anything else.”
Alex was slightly taken aback.
He thought, ‘This girl is truly different from others. If it weren’t for the pressure from the Hall family, she probably wouldn’t have ended up with me.‘
He asked, “What do you want to do when you have enough money in the future?”
Olivia looked up and met his eyes. “I want to hire the best doctor for my mother, leave the capital, buy a house, and live alone.”
Alex narrowed his eyes and asked in a low voice, “Don’t you plan to get married?”
Olivia lowered her head again, remaining silent.
She thought, ‘I don’t think any man would want to marry someone who was another man’s mistress.‘
“Come here.” Alex beckoned to her.
Olivia walked over and sat on his lap.
Alex’s voice was low. “I’ll find you a good man in the future. How about that?”
Olivia’s face turned pale, and she bit her lip tightly before finally saying after a long while, “You don’t have to do that.”
Alex was very satisfied with her answer and looked at her.
There was a hint of tenderness in his eyes, something even he didn’t realize.
He said, “It was me who arranged for Rosa to join this company”
“Okay,” Olivia replied calmly, her voice very steady.
“Aren’t you jealous?” Alex held onto her earlobe, gently nibbling on it, sending a tingling sensation through her body.
Her small face turned crimson as if it could drip blood She bit her lip and finally said after a long while, “Mr. Tres, I don’t get to judge your decisions.”
Alex curled his lips.
He felt pity that he couldn’t do anything to her at the moment.
Alex asked, “How many more days until your period ends?”
Olivia said, “Two days.”
Alex then said, “In two days, clean up and wait for me. I’ll visit you in Flowery Villa.”
“Okay,” Olivia replied softly.
It was almost time to go to work. She got up and walked out.
After leaving Alex’s office, she heaved a sigh of relief.
Back in the finance department, she sat at her desk.
However, she felt quite strange that Rosa didn’t come looking for trouble.
Just as Olivia was about to start working, Jillian came over. “Did you go to the CEO’s office at noon? Otherwise, why would Milo look for you?” Olivia was startled. She was scared that her secret was going to be exposed.
She looked up at Jillian.
But Jillian smiled slightly. “Olivia, I’m just kidding. Did I scare you?”
Olivia looked at her and said faintly, “This kind of joke isn’t funny at all.”
Then, Jillian stared into Olivia’s eyes while asking, “Olivia, be honest with me, are you dating Milo?”
“Absolutely not.” Olivia was speechless.
She thought, ‘Why is she so nosy?‘
Jillian didn’t believe her words and pursed her lips. “Olivia, are you hiding something from me?”
Olivia didn’t say anything while feeling guilty.
Soon it was time to leave work. Rosa went to the lobby with Dawn and waited for Oliver to go home together.
But after waiting for a long time, Oliver didn’t show up. Rosa looked across the street and saw him chatting with Olivia.
She walked over angrily.
Oliver asked, “Olivia, are you really dating Alex? Is this a retaliation against me?”
