Chapter 68

Hunter had insisted we bake something and after having a look through what we had at home, we made a Victoria sponge. While it was the red sauce for the meatballs I had planned on making. Hinter insisted on helping. I directed him to make the meatballs to let rolled them. Rolling meatballs together was fun, we could joke and talk at we worked. As Hunter whipped the cram for the decurt, I seared off the meatballs and got them ready in an oven proof form. Now all we needed to do was to cover them with the sauce, bake it in the oven for a while and cook the parts. That wouldn take that lone. The sponge was done and Hinter insisted he take it out of the oven.
“What now?” he asked.
“Now we let it cool, split it in half and fill it with strawberry jam and the whipped cream you helped me make, I told him
“So now we have free time?” he asked, giving me a grin as he stepped up to me
“I guess we do. What should we occupy ourselves with?” I asked. Hunter kissed me and I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my body flush with hands cupped my ass to pull me even closer. I was losing myself in the sensation and that’s when the alarm system let us know someone w
take the elevator to our floor. Hunter stopped kissing me and tilted his forehead to test against mine
“We could ignore them,” he suggested. I giggled.
“No, we invited them, remember? 1 pointed out and turned around to look at the monitor Jason stood in the elevator, looking up at the camera. I pozzled again as Hunter peppered my neck and shoulder with kisses.
“He can wait until the other two arrive,” he said.
“No.” I just said and pressed the button to accept the request. As the elevator started moving, Jason made a thumbs up.
“I might have to kill him,” Hunter sighed and placed a last kiss on my shoulder. I just laughed and went to open the door for Lison.
“Hana, as lovely to see you as always. I hope you haven’t succumbed to the grumpiness of the cal,” he said to me with a smile. He held out a bouquet of flowers.
“Thank you, Jason. They are lovely. And Hunter has been doing much better the last couple of days. He hardly huffs at all anymore,” I told him and laughed. The bouquet was lovely and the flowers all were in different pastel colours.
arm around
“Who are you calling grumpy?” Hunter asked as he walked up to us and placed his arm
“You,” Jason simply said and laughed. “You look better,” he added.
“Thanks, I feel better. A week being pampered by Hana, and I’m back to my usual self.”
“I can imagine. And is that one of your creations that I can smell? It has my mouth watering.” Jason said.
“It is. Hunter has helped me bake it, I told him and turned around to get the flowers into water.
they
“Are you sure it’s safe to eat then?” Jason joked, and Hunter gave him a shove. The two of them acted more like teenagers than grown men sometimes.. both were sweet. They stood in the kitchen talking until the alarm let them know someone else wanted to access the floor. I could see Wictor and Anthony on the monitor and accepted the request..
“I want you two to be on your best behaviour, please. This thing between Wictor and Anthony is new–ish. So don’t tease them. I told Hunter and Jason.
“We will behave,” Hunter promised and kissed me.
Hunter slapped him in the back of the head, I opened the door for the new guests and
“If I promise to behave, do I get a kiss as well?” Jason asked. I laughed and Hunter slap got a hug from Wictor.
“Hi, Anthony, come on in.” 1 said.
“Thank you, Hana,” Anthony replied, and the two men followed me as I walked to where the other two stood. I introduced Wictor to Hunter and Jason
“Nice to bnally meet you. Hana has told me a lot about you,” Hunter said as they shook hands.
can say the same.” Wictor said.
“How do you know Ilana? Jason asked.
Chapter 68
“She’s my little sister,” Wictor said without hesitation. Jason seemed stunned for a moment, then he smiled.
“Yes, I see. The family resemblance is uncanny,” Jason joked. Wictor laughed. I just rolled my eyes and punched Wictor on his arm.
“I’m the oldest,” I objected. We all laughed and the initial tension was broken. We continued with the polite small talk, letting everyone get to know each other. Hunter had once again put his arm around me as if it was a habit, and I relaxed into his side. “Okay, the three of you have business to discuss. Don’t worry about me and Wictor, we have some gossip to catch up on. Dinner is at six. If you’re not out of Hunter’s offer by then, Wictor and I will eat it all,” I told Hunter, Jason, and Anthony.
“Sounds like a plan. Follow me, my friends,” Hunter said and gave me a quick kiss before leading the trio into his office. When the door closed behind them, I turned towards Wictor. He smiled at me.
“Okay, I see it,” he admitted,
“I knew you would,” I said and dragged him over to the couch.
“He is nothing like Simon,” Wictor said as we got comfortable.
“I told you.”
“Yeah, yeah. So sue me for being cautious. It looks like he really likes you. The two of you seem to gravitate towards each other,” he continued.
“We aren’t the only ones gravitating toward each other. You and Anthony looked like you wanted to meld into one. Why didn’t you just take his hand? Your arms were rubbing against each other,” I asked.
“I told you.
We haven’t talked about it. I don’t want to make him uncomfortable, especially not in front of his bosses, Wictor told me,
“Okay. But he isn’t hiding any longer, Wictor. Both Hunter and Jason know he’s gay. It’s not a big deal to them. But if you’re not comfortable holding hands yet, then you can wait,” I told him,
“Speaking about waiting. Is there a reason why you and Hunter look so happy and relaxed?” Wictor asked,
“1–I don’t know what you are talking about,” I said.
“Mhm.” Wictor hunamed and kept his eyes on me.
“Okay, okay.” I lowered my voice to a whisper. “I may have kind of jumped him last night and it may, or may not, have been the best sex of my life,” I told him.
“You slut,” Wictor said with a laugh. “No, seriously! Good for you. You deserve it and there is no better way to get over something than to get right back in the saddle, he continued with a wink. I couldn’t help myself. I laughed and Wictor joined in. We switched subject to the ongoing office romance at his work. A while later, the door to the office opened up and Hunter came out. I looked at my phone to see if I had lost track of time so badly that I had forgotten to put dinner on But it was an hour and a half until I had said we would eat.
“Sweetness, would you mind joining us? Hunter asked. He then looked at Wictor. “I think it’s a good idea for you to come along as well. I suspect you will get involved one way or another.” I looked at Wictor and he looked back at me. We then looked at Hunter and we both nokled. As we got up and walked toward him, he put his arm around me and kissed my temple.
“This will not be a fun conversation, will it?” I asked
“No,” he sighed.
“Ok”
