Chapter 5

“You want your father to raise your and your aunt’s child? Sean, you are so shameless.” I turned and left, not wanting to have any more contact with Sean. I was afraid that I would do something illegal if I couldn’t control myself.
It was not worth it to risk my life and future because of such a scumbag.
Sean squatted on the ground and endured the pain, but he was still roaring, “You vicious woman. I’ll divorce you, Brenda.”
I didn’t look back.
When I got home and checked my phone, I saw the latest post from Angela on Instagram. It was a photo of holding hands with a diamond ring.
The two hands were tightly clasped together, and I could tell at a glance that the male’s hand was Frank’s.
The diamond ring on Angela’s hand was the one that Kayla had taken off her hand before she left.
The caption was: [Thank you for your love. With you, I’ll alway’s be loved.]
I put the phone aside. Frank and Sean were really the same type.

Perhaps because Sean had pushed me to the ground, I had a high fever at night.
In my dream, I seemed to see the former Sean, and I also saw my unborn child.
I woke up crying and saw Kayla’s anxious face.

“I’m here. Don’t cry,” Kayla hugged me and comforted me softly.
Kayla thought I was crying about my failed seven–year marriage with Sean.
I sobbed, “The moment I decided to divorce, I had already let Sean go. I just wonder if my child is doing well in the paradise.”
After that day, Sean had never come to me again.
The day of filing for divorce was approaching.
I was not in a good condition. Even though after being discharged from the hospital, I still had to go to the hospital for regular checkups.
When I walked to the charge room, I saw Frank and Sean supporting Angela walking towards me.
I was about to turn around and leave when Angela stopped me “Brenda, why are you in the hospital?”
Angela changed her arrogant and domineering attitude in front of me and Kayla.

Angela leaned weakly in Sean’s arms and looked at me.
Sean, Frank, and Angela stood in front of me in this intimate posture.

“You followed me? I’ve said that I would never forgive you. It’s no use pretending to be pitiful.” Sean glanced at the prescription in my hand.
I chuckled. It turned out that people could really laugh when they were angry.
I snorted, “Is the hospital yours? Why should I report to you wherever I go? Besides, I won’t get pregnant at an older age without being married.”
I smiled and looked at Angela, who was standing between Sean and Frank. I thought I was tolerant enough of them.
Angela looked gentle, but a scheming look flashed across her
eyes.
She said, “I was inconsiderate last time, and I didn’t know that day was your wedding anniversary and Kayla’s birthday. I’m
sorry.
“It was an emergency that day, and I was too scared. You know, I had just returned from abroad not long ago, and I don’t have any relatives here. I could only call Frank and Sean.”
Angela pretended to be frail and looked at me with tearful eyes.

Before I could speak, Sean stood in front of Angela and protected her.

Sean said coldly, “Angela has already apologized to you. Do you know how precious that scarf is? You rejected it.
“Because of you, Angela has cried many times. She is pregnant. How could you be so mean?”
Frank looked at me with a hint of hostility.
