Jasper stared at Kieran, wanting to argue but couldn’t do so in front of Calista. He didn’t want to embarrass himself. Kieran glanced at Calista as she stood up to follow him without saying a word, striding toward the door.
“Calista, Ell be in Stonebridge next week -Let’s get together and practice our drinking skills, Jasper shouted after her.
As Calisia stepped out of the private room, she noticed Kieran’s lips pressed into a line, his patience wearing thin. She almost replied with a “Sure” but instead turned back to Jasper and gave him an “Okay” gesture.
Jasper was one of the few friends listed in the information Leander had given her about Kieran. Calista valued maintaining her connections. Regardless of Jasper’s initial intentions for bringing her there, she realized her visit hadn’t been in vain.
Kieran’s compliment about her drinking skills meant she had made a good impression on her new boss. If her direct superior saw her favorably. that could mean opportunities ahead.

Following Kieran closely, Calista looked at him with bright, sparkling eyes, as if he were her fortune.

Kieran paused slightly in his steps, without turning around or saying anything more.
Not far away, a sleek black Maybach was parked nearby.

Calista wanted to keep up with him, but when she saw the license plate of the Maybach displayed a number from Torstel, especially when a young man got out of the driver’s seat and respectfully opened the rear door for Kieran, she stopped us her tracks
After Kieran got into the car. Orm closed the door and walked around to get into the driver’s seat. As usual, he started the engine to drive away a then heard Kierans calm voice from the backseat. “Wait, there’s one more person.”
