I was overwhelmed by listening to Noah’s family drama. It was really tough to be the Alpha of the pack. They don’t only have to fight with outer enemies but keep their inner enemies in check as well and the trouble increases if your pack is considered to be one of the prestigious packs in the kingdom. In comparison to Noah’s Pack, our pack was small and simple. Through generations, our Alpha family had only one child who later became the Alpha of the pack until my parents finally had me as their second child. But, I never intended to fight my brother for the Alpha‘ s position. I felt pity on Noah that he had to go through all those family drama every now
and then.
I immediately shook my head, realizing how much I began to think about a person I just met, not to mention how he charged over me and made me embarrassed in front of my brother.

The next evening, my brother and I were sitting in the lawn and talking about something funny when one of my brother’s friends came. I recognised him at first glance. He was Daniel’s best friend, Ned, whom I had heard talking about Daniel’s ‘Luna‘ a few days ago. Ethan welcomed him warmly and offered him a seat. After chatting with my brother for a few minutes, Ned turned to me and asked in a low voice, “Bella, can we talk for a few minutes?”
Ethan raised his eyebrows as he turned to me, asking, “Bella, do you know Ned?”

“I don’t think so. I replied flatly, leaving Ned stunned. He immediately made up, saying with a fake smile, “We met each other at a few parties. Did you already forget me, Bella?”
“Maybe, I don’t remember anything.” I refused to talk to him. I knew he had come
there to tell me something about Daniel which I did not care about. His face sank

and he hardly maintained his fake smile while chatting with my brother. His expressions tensed up. He didn’t get the chance to talk to me in private and he didn’t want to expose Daniel’s relationship with me before my brother. In the end, he couldn’t hold himself and asked me again,
“Bella, can you please give me a few minutes? It’s about Daniel.”
Ethan narrowed his eyes, saying, “What do you need to talk to my sister about Daniel?”
He then turned to me, asking, “You told me that you did not like Ethan. Are you two fighting over something or what?”
“Anyways, I heard that his so–called ‘love for life‘ and his one and only ‘Luna‘ has returned. He must be in the ninth

pin–drop silence. Ned dared not saying anything. He only looked at me with an awkward gaze. Even I got stung by Ethan’s words. It felt like someone had just rubbed salt over my burns.
What resemblance did I have with Winnie?
Just a pair of blue eyes. Daniel must be a psycho to invest seven years on me to change me into a person he could not get. I recalled how he slowly changed the brands of my clothes and perfume. Even my hairstyle was changed by him. He fooled. me by saying that the new style suited me better. But, he didn’t tell me that he was actually turning me into a mirror image of his lover. I clenched my fists in anger while recalling everything. Even my brother knew about Daniel‘ s addiction. Only I
could not see through him and be fooled by him for seven years.
Ned laughed awkwardly before replying,
“It was all in the past. He doesn’t love Winnie anymore. He has found someone else.”

Ned swapped a meaningful gaze over me while saying this. However, my brother laughed, saying, “He says this every time but still tries to see Winnie in all his love. Wait…”
Ethan turned to me as he muttered shockingly, “When you returned your dressing style, it reminded me of Winnie…”
He looked at me with a frown, asking, “What exactly is going on between you and Daniel?”
